User Acceptance Testing
At Mediaocean, an oportunity presented itself for individuals of the company to test the company website before it went public. I was fortunate enough to be selected to assist with the testing of the corporate website and was able to use my prior experience in web development to good use.
The web team assigned me to review the Products, Company, and Support & Training pages and all their sub pages. I was responsible for all content on the webpages. It was my job to ensure that every web page had accurate content. I reviewed for spelling errors, functionality, design, and style.
What I brought to the team was my experience in Web Content Accessibilities. Prior to this project, I was the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG) expert at Unilever. WCAG – is the standard set by the World Wide Web Consortium which dictates how a website should operate, look, and feel for people with disabilities. this was useful to the team as I provided feedback on certain color choices that would not have passes WCAG standards.
