In what ways have I adjusted my interpersonal communication style and techniques (electronic, oral, visual, written, and small group discussions to include new information, new perspectives and those impacted by the set of decisions) made in the internship organization?
I learned that I have adjusted my interpersonal communication style and techniques through electronic writing. Because, I must communicate with different people on a constant basis. I must adjust to a certain style of writing. I would not communicate in an informal manor to a CEO; similarly, I would not send a formal email to a coworker that I communicate on a constant basis on miscellaneous tasks.
I learned this when I write emails. It is a learning experience everytime.
This learning matters because it helps me get well rounded in the field of communication in the work environment.
In light of this learning, I can still learn more. The fact that I communicate with people on a constant basis is obsolete because who doesn’t communicate with other people. My interpersonal communication style is being molded on a daily basis in my opinion.
