Day 16 – June 22, 2015

Day 16

Describe and assess your performance in recognizing opportunities when working with others in small group setting where ideas are discussed and reviewed. Might a conversation with your DFE site supervisor be valuable? Why or why not? [RO]

Please apply the Reflective Discernment Model to articulate your learning: I learned that, I learned that when, this learning matters because, In light of this learning.

I learned that my performance in recognizing opportunity when working with others in small group settings where ideas are discussed and reviewed, is vigorously expanding.  When collaborating, recognizing opportunity becomes very clear. Often there are tasks that need to be completed and there is always room for improvement. My performance increases because I am constantly surrounded with opportunities and I find that recognizing these opportunities are becoming more easy for me.

I learned this as I was analyzing my performance in recognizing opportunity for the CEO of the Helm Society. This prompt was actually an activity that I had to take a part in at the start of the week last week.

This learning matters because there are times when recognizing opportunity for the company is important because the CEO is busy doing other activities.

In light of this learning, in order to assess properly my performance in recognizing opportunity I would have to assess the value I have added to the organization since I started. At this time, I have added a tremendous amount of value in organizing/ creating a conventional scheme for the organization.
