Launched our organizations website!
Up until 2015, The Campus Activities Board at Berea College was using a six website and was not getting much traffic. In the fall of 2016, I became the Assistant Student Director for the campus activities Board. My biggest project was to launch a new website for the organization. This was a difficult task as there was not much information to go with.
I reached out to our internal web team at Berea College and secured the sub directory for our website. berea.edu/cab. I was able to work on the site, however, there was very little I could do as this website had to follow the colleges website rules. Not to say that they were bad or that they did not work. The issue was that there were many restrictions and we were unable to customize the website to match the fun look and feel that we wanted as the site had to follow the uniform look throughout the entire directory.
I was eventually able to create a somewhat fun look for our page and created a slider that looked like a slideshow on an iPad.
